The challenge was to design a hugely collaborative mobile app and web experience on a very short timeline for Verizon’s Go90 service. The idea: sing in a giant virtual chorus and be in a video that would premiere at the 2016 MTV VMAs show. Our mobile app would lead you through an audio and video recording session where The Weeknd would teach you the chorus of his new track.
This project was too good to be true and didn’t make it to production for scheduling reasons. But it was an amazing time spent working with one of the best interactive production companies around, Tool of North America.
